TWENTY EIGHT DAYS LATER
Done for Cliff Wallace at Creature Effects. Initially Danny Boyle wanted to portray the rage attacks as abstract flashes, almost like Francis Bacon paintings, so I was asked to come up with some concepts for this. These were achieved very simply, by wrapping rubber bands around actor Neil Keenan’s face and photographing them using a long exposure on the camera.
