TWENTY EIGHT DAYS LATER

For twenty eight days later Cliff Wallace asked me to come up with concepts for the Rage attacks. Initially Danny Boyle wanted to portray them as abstract flashes, almost like Francis Bacon paintings.

These are some of the images I photographed by wrapping rubber bands around my riend Neil Keenan’s already swollen and grotesque face, and taking each shot with a 1-3s exposure.
